Flower Portraits

My senses have been awoken to the natural splendour around us. I have become immersed in the smells and aromas of flowers. My eyes have been opened to the shear beauty of each individual bloom. My aim in the photographs is to capture this beauty and share these fleeting moments with you. 

My style of photography deals with the bright, colourful and intimate world of flowers. I create close up portraits of individual flowers captured for a split second under my macro len. The flower portrait remains as the flower slowly fades out of existence.  

In each image the main focal point is the flower, with all its intricate details exposed thus revealing the true essence of its nature.
